Verifying Facebook Business Portfolio

Requirements

1. Business Presence:
   You need at least one of the following:
   • A website for your business.
   • A Facebook Page dedicated to your business.
   • An Instagram Profile associated with your business.
2. Business Phone Number:
   Ensure you have a valid business phone number that can be used for verification purposes.
3. Government Record Verification:
   When you provide basic business details, Facebook will attempt to find your business in government records. If your business is listed, you can opt for verification. To verify using government records, you’ll need to provide one of the following identification documents:
   • Passport
   • Driving License
   • National ID Card
   • Marriage Certificate
   • Official Name Change Document
   • Green Card
   • Residence Permit or Immigration Papers
   • Tribal Identification or Status Card
   • Voter ID
   • Family Certificate
   • National Age Card
   • Immigration Registration Card
   • PAN Card of one owner of the business
4. Alternative Verification:
   If your business is not listed in government records, you will need to provide two certificates that include your business name, phone number, and address. Acceptable combinations for indian business may include:
   • UDYAM (which includes legal business name and business phone number) + GST Certificate (which includes legal business name and business address).
   • UDYAM (which includes legal business name and business phone number) + Bank Statement (a statement from a bank such as SBI that shows the business name and address).

These combinations are examples we have tested successfully; other combinations may also be acceptable.

Verifying Facebook Business Portfolio

1. Open Facebook Business Portfolio Security Center:

   • Access Health Status:
     Navigate to the Health Status section on your dashboard.
   • Open Verification Link:
     Click on the open link icon located on the right side of "FB Business Portfolio Verified."
   • Log in to Facebook:
     If you are not already logged in, enter your Facebook account credentials.
   • Start Verification:
     Click on the Start Verification button in the card labeled "Verification for <BIZ NAME>."

2. Get Started:
   In the opened dialog, click on Get Started.

3. Select Business Type:
   Choose your business type from the following options:

   • Corporation
   • Sole Proprietorship
   • Partnership
   • Private Company
   • Institute

   Then, click Next.

4. Choose Business Country:
   Select your business country and click Next.

5. Sole Proprietorship or Partnership Registration:
   If you selected Sole Proprietorship or Partnership, indicate whether your business is officially registered.

6. Add Business Details:
   Fill in the required business details:

   • Business Name
   • Street Address
   • Town/City
   • State
   • PIN Code
   • Phone Number
   • Link to Website or Social Media Page
   • Tax ID (Optional: GSTIN, MSME - UDYAM, PAN, LLPIN)

7. Verify Business Listing:
   If Facebook locates your business in government records, select it. If not, click on My business isn't listed.

8. Verify Your Identity:
   If Facebook locates your business in the records, you will need to verify your identity. You can choose one of the following documents for verification:

   • Passport
   • Driving License
   • National ID Card
   • Marriage Certificate
   • Official Name Change Documentation
   • Green Card
   • Residence Permit
   • Immigration Papers
   • Tribal Identification or Status Card
   • Voter ID
   • Family Certificate
   • Visa
   • National Age Card
   • Immigration Registration Card
   • PAN Card

   Once you have selected and uploaded the necessary documentation, proceed to submit your information for review.

9. Provide Business Certificates:
   If Facebook does not find your business in the government records, you will need to provide business certificates as proof of your operation. You can submit any two of the following combinations:

   • UDYAM Certificate:
     Must include your business phone number along with the legal business name.
   • GST Registration:
     Should include your business address with the legal business name.
   • Bank Statement:
     A statement from a recognized bank showing your business name and address. (We have tested this with SBI bank statements, but you can try others as well.)

   After gathering the necessary documentation, submit the certificates for review to complete the verification process.

10. Submit Details for Review:
    Follow the remaining prompts and then submit your details for review.

Once these steps are completed, your Facebook Business Portfolio will be in review of being verified, It can be verified between 10 minutes to 14 working days. If you encounter any problems or are unable to proceed, please contact us, and we will do our best to resolve any issues you face.
