Verify Phone Number
Learn how to verify phone number attached with WhatsApp Business profile.
To verify your WhatsApp Profile, follow these simple steps:
- Open WhatsApp Profiles Screen:
To verify a WhatsApp profile, access the WhatsApp profiles screen by following these steps:- Click on the Icon Navigation Card featuring the Phone icon on your dashboard.
- Alternatively, navigate through the drawer menu by selecting WhatsApp Business Account and then WhatsApp Profiles.
- Select the WhatsApp Profile:
- Hold the WhatsApp Profile you wish to verify.
- In the opened screen from bottom, click on the tile labeled Verify.
- Choose Verification Method:
- Select either SMS or Voice Call to verify your phone number.
- Click on Send OTP and wait a few seconds while Facebook sends an SMS or makes a call to your phone number for verification.
- Verify Phone Number:
- Enter the OTP you receive via SMS or Voice Call to complete the verification of your phone number.
- Click on Verify Code. If the OTP is correct, your WhatsApp profile will be successfully verified.
Once your phone number has been successfully verified, you can choose to enable or disable it as needed. Please note that the verification status will expire after 14 days, so it's important to manage your preferences within this time frame. You can enable or disable the phone number anytime within the 14-day window following verification, ensuring that your WhatsApp profile remains flexible and secure.
