Quality Ratings

Understand your message quality rating and its impact on your WhatsApp messaging capabilities to enhance customer interactions.


Your quality rating reflects the feedback from customers regarding the messages they’ve received over the past seven days. This rating can be found under the WhatsApp profiles insights, with states categorized as:

  • High quality
  • Medium quality
  • Low quality

A high-quality rating makes you eligible for more features. When users block your business, they can select reasons such as "No longer needed," "Didn't sign up," or "Spam."

If your rating is medium or low, hover over it in the WhatsApp Manager for insights into block reasons. This helps you identify issues and avoid sending low-quality messages.

You can subscribe to quality-related updates and receive notifications when:

  • A phone number's status changes to Flagged or is removed.
  • There’s a change in a phone number's messaging limits.

Status Changes:

  • Connected:
    You can send messages within your set limits.
  • Flagged:
    Occurs when the rating changes to Low. If quality doesn't improve in seven days, it returns to Connected, but the messaging limit decreases.
  • Restricted:
    Occurs when you reach your messaging limit, preventing outgoing messages for 24 hours, although you can respond to incoming messages.
